Antique Italian Alabaster Bust, Signed Pugi — Hooded Female Figure
$1,500.00

A beautifully carved alabaster bust of a young woman wearing a draped hood tied at the back of the head, attributed to the Florentine sculptor Guglielmo Pugi (1850–1915) and signed "Pugi" in script on the reverse. Pugi was a celebrated Tuscan sculptor who worked from his Florence atelier, producing finely carved alabaster and marble figures that were widely sought by European and American collectors.

The carving is of exceptional quality, with particular attention to the intricate knotted drapery of the headscarf and the soft modeling of the facial features. The warm, translucent alabaster displays a beautiful aged patina consistent with authentic late 19th / early 20th century Italian craftsmanship. Condition, including some small chips and scratches, is as shown in photos.

Dimensions approximate due to uneven shape.

Swiss Oil Painting of Village Snow Scene

Original oil painting signed by Henri Sandoz (Saint-Imier 1919–1994 Montreux) in 1949 featuring a winter village scene.

Art measures 12" x 15" and is framed with a giltwood frame measuring 15.5" x 18.75".

There are some small chips due to age and wear, as pictured.

Set of Antique Crystal Scent Bottles With Silver Mounts — Engraved Monogram, Hallmarked
$350.00

A matched set of antique crystal scent bottles with silver collars and lids. The crystal bodies feature a beautifully cut star pattern on the base, visible through the clear glass. Both bottle lids feature an engraved silver medallion with an ornate interlaced monogram cipher. Original glass stoppers present. The two bottles differ in size, suggesting they were part of a larger vanity or dressing table set.

Each bottle bears a small hallmark stamp on both the lid and collar — consistent with French silver assay practice of individually marking each silver component. The marks are small and indistinct; as shown in photos.

Acquired in Aix-en-Provence, France. Sold as a pair.

Measurements:
Bottle 1 (including lid) - 5"H x 2.5"W x 2.5"D
